There is a problem i faced to verify my blog in google webmaster.The process is to add your site url to webmaster and add the meta tag code into your main template after the .But when i inserted the tags to the template and try to save, it showed an error "Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The element type "meta" must be terminated by the matching end-tag ".
After googled, I found the solution.At the end of meta tags, it should be "/>" instead of ">".I think it is part of XML.
